Folksy Friday - Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow...!

OK, so we are all sitting here freezing our bits and pieces off - the first flurries of snow were probably welcomed with early festive cheer... but by now I think we are all just a little bit fed up with it! If you don't need to be anywhere, well that's fine, stay home, wrap up and keep warm... And if you really absolutely have to go out - please, please, please take care!!
I planned this Folksy Friday several days ago, it seemed a fun idea at the time, but I really do hope you won't all find it a bit of a sick joke by now... Anyway, however you feel about The Big Freeze, here are Fifteen Fabulous Folksy Friday Finds all about snow that you can enjoy from the warm comfort of your fireside...

I hope you enjoyed my selection just a little bit more than the white stuff outside - stay warm!

Folksy Friday - My Handmade Christmas...

With only 5 weeks left to go, those of us who are not ultra organised will be turning our thoughts to Christmas.  This year I have gotten ever more involved with the Handmade scene, and I am wanting to make it as much of a Handmade Christmas as I possibly can... I have been scouring craft sites and magazines for ideas, and already have a couple of projects on the go.  But, as ever, time is short and I know I just cannot do everything.  So what do we do in a situation like this? We cheat!
If you too would like a Handmade Christmas, but have either run out of time, or have two left thumbs, then there are dozens of wonderful people on Folksy who will do all the hardwork for you...
Here is my selection of Fifteen Fabulous Folksy Friday Finds for kick-starting your Handmade Christmas....

OK, so that's the decorations sorted... the place is looking a little more festive... now for my gift list...

Folksy Friday - Cushion yourself for Christmas...

All regular readers of my Folksy Friday blogs will know that I do love a good cushion - whatever the theme of my selections, one always seems to creep in there.  So this week I decided to dedicate my whole blog to gorgeous, cuddly, comfy, crafty cushions.  There are cushions for the lounge, cushions for the bedroom, cushions for the conservatory, even cushions for the kitchen... cushions for boys, cushions for girls, cushions for mum and cushions for men...  After all, you can never have too many cushions can you?

When I entered "cushion" as my search on Folksy, I was hit with 211 pages of gorgeousness - that's well over 2000 cushions for you to choose from!!  All are hand made and all are totally lovely.  Thankfully I decided to limit my choices to just 20 - and that was hard!  Otherwise we could have been here all week...!

Aren't they all gorgeous???
Are you, like me, wishing you had a bigger house to put them all in???
